Essentials on Designing, Selecting and Putting Together There are several things to think about when you are deciding on announcements for your wedding. First, what style of wedding ceremony are you and your sweetheart planning? Is it formal, semi-formal, or perhaps casual? The style of wedding you are planning should be reflected in the kind of wedding invitation you pick. Realize that the very first impression your guests will receive on your approaching wedding ceremony is your invitation, and you'll want it to be impressive. While you might not want to send elegant wedding invitations because you want a more casual wedding, you'll still want to select stationery that's high quality. There are a number of styles of wedding invitations to select from. You'll find religious, contemporary, traditional, nautical, and everything in between. There are some designed on fine European papers and some on 100% cotton. Also there are a lot of less embellished announcements that still are quite beautiful. When it comes to planning the content of your invitations, make sure to select a vendor that features a good variety of writing styles, ink colors, and a choice of wording ideas to help you say precisely what you would like to express. By reading their ideas, you will be certain that you haven't omitted any pertinent details. What is truly nice about ordering your wedding invitations and announcements on the internet is that some sites have the ability to view a proof online. You'll have the opportunity to view your invitations in real time and you can also look at what they're going to look like printed. That way if you change your mind, you will be able to make alterations with the colors and fonts to get what you're looking for. You may also look at the spacing of the complete wedding announcement. That way you'll be able to find out whether or not you chose the most ideal size and style for your content. Getting your unique wedding invitations put together isn't as tough or as daunting as you may assume when you are getting all those pieces ready to send. Initially, the best thing you can do is to count what you've got and make some equal stacks. The very bottom of your stack should be the invitation, next is the tissue, then the the reception card (if you have one), finally is the response card placed on top of the response envelope with the flap over the top. Each piece needs to be face up. Place them facing up into the inner envelope (this one is probably lined). The envelope's back will be facing you. When you're finished, if you have all empty piles, none of the pieces got stuck together and nothing was missed while putting them together. Address these to the guests (only the names, i.e.: Mr. And Mrs. Jon Jones). Address the outside envelope (the one with adhesive on the flap) and insert the inner envelope. The names of the recipients should be facing you when taken from the outer envelope which has its back facing up.
